I don't, personally, eat cheese balls, but I am making this for Jess's baby shower & thought it was a fun little appetizer for fall. :) It makes for a cute little centerpiece as well.
2 (8 oz) blocks extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
1 (8 oz) container chive and onion cream cheese
2 tsp paprika
½ tsp red pepper
1 broccoli stalk
Red and green apple wedges
Sliced baguette and/or crackers
1 (8 oz) package cream cheese
1 (8 oz) container chive and onion cream cheese
2 tsp paprika
½ tsp red pepper
1 broccoli stalk
Red and green apple wedges
Sliced baguette and/or crackers
Combine the first ingredients in a food processor and process until blended. Scrape all of the cheese together and roll into a ball. Refrigerate 4 hours.
Shape the mixture into a ball that resembles a pumpkin. Score the sides with a knife. Use the broccoli stalk to resemble a pumpkin stem.
Serve with apples, baguette and/or crackers. Can be stored in refrigerator up to 2 days.
